As the year draws to a close, it’s time to embrace a new kind of journey – one that takes us beyond the office walls and into the vibrant heart of Mexico! We are thrilled to welcome each and every one of you to our unforgettable end-of-year company trip, where you are only responsible for purchasing your flight.

Get ready to be captivated by the enchanting landscapes and create lasting memories that will carry us into the coming year. This trip is more than just a vacation; it’s a celebration of our collective achievements and a chance to relax, recharge, and bond outside of the office.

This year our trip will be held at the all-inclusive Royalton Splash Riviera CancunThe last day to RSVP through Rippling is Monday, October 30th. 

Flight information (flight number, airline, arrival, and departure times) is due Friday, December 1st through Rippling.

What dates are we going?:

  • Tier 1: December 13th-17th

Do we have an itinerary?:

Yes, the itinerary is as follows:

  • 12/13: Check-in
  • 12/13: Awards Dinner Cocktail @ 7PM (Dinner starts at 7:30PM)
  • 12/14: Pool Party @ 12PM
  • 12/16: Farewell Dinner @ 7PM

What information do I need to provide?:

  • In the Rippling survey, you’ll need to provide your passport number, sign a travel waiver, and input your flight information.

Which airport am I flying into?:

  • Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Will there be transportation from the airport to the resort?:

  • Yes, round-trip airport transfers will be provided for all travelers arriving/departing on the extended stay dates and regular stay dates.

What happens if my flight gets delayed?:

  • The driver who will be transferring you to and from the airport will have access to your flight information and will adapt to any changes regarding your flight time.

How early should I arrive at the airport?:

  • For international flights, it is recommended that you arrive two hours before your departure time.

What should I do when I arrive at the resort?:

  • Your luggage will be taken care of by the resort.
  • Check-in.
  • Find our Prezi table to pick up your swag!

What if I arrive earlier than I can check in?:

  • Your luggage will be taken care of by the resort.
  • Find the Prezi table to pick up your Swag Bag.
  • Hang out with other Prezi Employees until eligible for check-in.

What should I wear?:

  • Formal attire is required for the Awards Dinner on 12/13 (e.g. gowns or suits).
  • Employees and their guest(s) should be appropriately dressed for the weather. Please plan on packing swimwear and casual clothing.

Should I bring sunscreen?:

  • YES

  • All-Inclusive Meal Plans (Menus and Outlets Vary by Resort)

Are passports required?:

  • YES. All U.S. citizens must have a passport that is valid through your return travel date, but we recommend at least six months validity beyond travel dates. Airline tickets cannot be completed without each passenger’s passport information.
  • To obtain a new passport or to renew your passport, visit the Passports Page of the U.S. Department of State website. Don’t delay! Passport processing is experiencing significant delays and may take as long as 18 weeks. If you choose to expedite your passport, this can still take up to 12 weeks. Travel with photocopies of your travel documents and identification in case the originals are lost or stolen. Leave a copy of these items at home as well.
  • Please note that first, middle and last names on your airline tickets and your passport must match exactly. Any changes after ticketing may result in penalties. Non-U.S. citizens, please contact your consulate to determine your necessary documentation. The airlines will deny boarding without proper identification.

May I bring a guest?:

  • Yes, you may bring one guest. Guest information will need to be submitted through the Rippling survey. If your guest is under 18, please notify [email protected] in advance.

Can the State Department assist me if I have an emergency while in Mexico?

Yes, the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service that allows U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Benefits of enrolling include:

  • Receive important information from the Embassy about safety conditions in your destination country, helping you make informed decisions about your travel plans.
  • Help the U.S. Embassy contact you in an emergency, whether natural disaster, civil unrest, or family emergency.
  • Help family and friends get in touch with you in an emergency.

May I extend my travel?:

Yes. If you would like to extend your stay, you will be financially responsible for arranging this. For additional details please contact [email protected].

What is the currency?:

  • The Mexican peso (MXN) is the official currency of Mexico. However, the US dollar is widely accepted across Mexico.

Do I need to bring cash?:

  • The resort is all-inclusive, so bringing cash is only necessary for extra gratuity, excursions, or amenities that are not offered in the all-inclusive package.

Will my cell phone work in Mexico?:

  • The resort offers free WiFi. However, for cellular service, contact your service provider for further information.
